Half Load Season
During the spring thaw, some Municipal roads may become too soft and unstable to withstand the weight of a fully loaded truck, regardless of the axles. In an effort to reduce damage to the roads during spring thaw, from March 1 to April 30 each year, the Municipality restricts vehicles to half loads (5 tonnes per axle) on all roads in the Municipality.

Notice: Transition to Flat Rate Water and Sewer Billing
Effective January 1, 2025, the Township of North Huron will transition from metered water and sewer billing to flat rate billing for all residential properties, in accordance with the motion passed at the September 16, 2024 Council meeting.
Key Changes:
- Final Metered Bill: All residents receiving municipal water and/or sewer services will receive their final metered invoice for 2024 in early January.
