The Township of North Huron recognizes that culture and heritage provide a vital link to the past and a foundation for planning the future. The heritage resources of North Huron contribute significantly to our local identity, character, vitality, economic prosperity and quality of life.
For these reasons it is appropriate that heritage resources are specifically stated in the Official Plan with goals and policies that provide direction and ensure that heritage preservation efforts continue in accordance with provincial heritage regulations and guidelines.
