Failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve a taxpayer from responsibility for payment of taxes, nor from penalty for late payment. Easy Way to Pay!
The Township of North Huron issues property tax bills twice per year with two installments on each.
Interim tax bill
The Interim tax bill is issued in the beginning of March and the installment due dates are:
- The last week of March
- The last week of June
Final tax bill
The Final tax bill is issued in the beginning of September and the installment due dates are:
- The last week of September
- The last week of November
Didn't receive your tax bill?
If you have not received a tax bill or have lost your tax bill, please contact us at 519-357-3550 Ext 125. Please note that if you do not receive a tax bill, you are not relieved from payment of taxes nor from liability of penalty for late payment.
E-Billing |
To have your property tax bills sent by email, please complete the E-billing Enrollment Form and return to the township office. |
Mailing address change |
If your mailing address has changed, please complete the Mailing Address Change form and return to the municipal office. |
Late payment charges |
Penalty of 1.25 % will be added on the first day of default and the first day of each month thereafter. All payments will be applied to the penalty first and the balance will be applied to the oldest outstanding property taxes. |
Statement of account |
A $10.00 fee applies for a statement of account and duplicate copies of property tax bills and water/sewer bills. Please contact the us at 519-357-3550 if you require a copy. |
Returned cheques |
Cheques returned NSF by your bank will result in a charge of $25.00 being added to your tax account. |
