Attention Community Groups/Organizations:
The Council of the Township of North Huron receives requests for monetary donations annually and in accordance with the North Huron Donations and Fee Waiving Policy (By-law No. 89-2023). Please be advised that all donation requests must be submitted to the Township of North Huron Clerk by no later than November 1, 2024 for the request to be considered by Council for the 2025 budget.
In accordance with the Donations and Fee Waiving Policy, the Township of North Huron shall budget a maximum of $6,000.00 annually for donations to community groups/organizations. No single community group/organization shall be eligible to receive more than $2,000.00 annually as a donation from the Township of North Huron.
Please be advised that all letters requesting donations are required to include the following:
- Name of the recipient community group/organization receiving the donation.
- Address and contact information of the recipient receiving the donation.
- Background details to substantiate the request (this may include an operating budget, project goals, past benefits received by the Township from your organization, description of your organization and its mission, and specifically how this impacts the Township of North Huron).
