Fire Safety Plans

Fire safety Plans are required by the Ontario Fire Code for certain occupancies to provide a fire safety guideline for the building owners on minimizing the risk to occupants in the event of a fire. Fire Safety Plans detail the actions of certain staff members, fire protection equipment in their building and procedures for maintaining this equipment.

The Fire Department of North Huron can provide fire safety plan templates for businesses and building owners to use however it is up to the property owner to ensure they are completed. Contact the fire department and we will assist you with your requirements.
