Like all Ontario municipalities, North Huron is required to develop and maintain an Emergency Plan governing the provision of services during an emergency. Emergency Plans detail the procedures to be followed when responding to an emergency.
With a comprehensive Emergency Plan in place, the Township of North Huron is prepared to effectively handle all emergencies. The Emergency Plan details the methods in which the Township mobilizes its resources during a crisis and ensures that all Township organizations, emergency response services and key agencies are fully aware of their respective roles and responsibilities during an emergency. The goal is to respond and reduce the impact of a public emergency and restore the municipality to a normal state as soon as possible.
